Explanation

First I did some research into the history of Camberwell and Wilson Road, just to get a better understanding of the area I was in. I don't think I ended up using much of it in my project because I wanted to do a text it was still interesting to learn about. I then did some sketches of interesting parts of the lecture theatre to inspire me for aspects to add into my design. It made me look into different types of wood that they used to make different building which helped in designing my final set. I then (with the help of the Tutors) decided on 'Cloud 9' by Carol Churchill. Then I created a mood-board of what I imagined when I read the play. This has helped my decide on colours and styles while designing.
